Style Resolutions For Our Favorite Celebrities

Happy second week of 2013 everyone! There is no better time to debut a new look than in the midst of new years resolutions. And when it comes to our favorite celebrities, we can think of a few style moves that would shake things up. Whether it’s a sweet new pair of spectacles or a drool-worthy pair of shoes, these starlets would really make a splash with some unexpected statements. We really agree with the Eyes on Style campaign, and we’d enjoy seeing more ladies incorporating glasses into the accessory arsenal. The new Eyes on Style episode airs today so make sure to check out the webisode to see where our inspiration came from. So without further ado, here are some our fave public icons who would look killer with a makeover centered around some sick frames.

Blake Lively

It only makes sense that Blake Lively dresses like an ultra-vixen. I mean, she has Blake Lively’s body. But it would be great to see her change up the wardrobe in an unexpected way, by let’s say, incorporating more menswear-inspired pieces. A pair of wide-leg, high-waisted dress pants and a tuxedo shirt riffs on the Katherine Hepburn look that she could totally kill. The two-tone Prada frames would make her eyes pop and add an unconventional accent to such a classic ensemble.

Emma Stone

This funny lady has so much range, creatively as well as in her styling choices. And while her red hair may be a thing of the past, we’re petitioning for her to get back into wearing a bit more emerald. A cinch-waist dress with a bit of fun jewelry to highlight the neckline would frame her face impeccably. Some tortishell specs would complete the sweet fifties look.

Lea Michele

This Glee star is a dishy vamp on the red carpet, while on the street she keeps things a bit more casual. For the new year, we’d love to see her in a bit more of a quirky light. A 70s style red printed dress has the kitsch factor we’d love to see on her, and complements her raven hair. Not to mention, a pair of pumps and a simple belt accessorize perfectly. Top it all off with some sophisticated square frames, and it’s the perfect balance of kook and classic.

Selena Gomez

It’s a new year, and post-Bieber, Miss Gomez has a whole blank canvas in front of her. Her smile and sincere demeanor show what a sweetheart she totally is, but it would be awesome to see her with a bit more edge. A biker jacket and pair of relaxed boyfriend jeans play on a femme greaser look, and a pair of cat eye glasses add a dash of class. They grow up so fast…

Lindsay Lohan

We love our Lilo just as much as anyone, and we’d love for her grab 2013 by the horns and make a triumphant return to stability. Starting off with her look, she would do great bringing back a little bit of that sweetness that every Parent Trap fan knows she has in her. A printed shirtdress and a preppy blazer paired together are whimsical and classic, and a low-heeled brown boot anchors the look. A pair of red frames highlight her eyes, and complement the levels of blonde in her hair.
