Monday night’s edition of The Bachelorette was dramatic for a lot of reasons, but most of it revolved around Colton Underwood and his history with Tia Booth. And when it comes to his relationship history, apparently, there are a few things he’s not filling Becca Kufrin in on. In fact, it seems like he might be straight-up lying. You know how social media can be, and it took almost no time at all for fans to dig up proof that Becca isn’t the only girl he’s brought home to meet his family like he’d claimed, so maybe it’s for the best that she ended up sending him home.
When Becca and Colton were talking about hometown dates, he kept emphasizing the fact that it was a Very Big Deal that he was bringing Becca home to meet his parents, since it’s something that he never does. But as it turns out, that’s not true. Remember how Colton used to date Olympic gymnast Aly Raisman? Yeah, she definitely came home to meet his family… and there’s photographic proof.
As Bachelor fans discovered, Colton’s sister posted a photo of their family in matching Christmas pajamas, together for the holidays, and yes, Aly is there, all decked out with the Underwoods. It’s important to note that Colton’s parents aren’t in the picture, but being that the rest of the family is present, it makes sense that they’d probably be there too, meaning they’ve very like met Aly.
As a journalist I feel the need to speak truth to power and tell you that COLTON IS LYING ABOUT NEVER BRINGING A GIRL HOME HERE HE IS AT CHRISTMAS WITH ALY RAISMAN #TheBachelorette pic.twitter.com/8nI6BwkWAH

Cute picture, right? Except for the part where it showed that Colton was possibly not completely honest about never bringing a girl home. BTW this photo was taken during Christmastime of 2016, which was less than two years ago. And if Aly’s wearing matching Christmas pajamas with the rest of their family, there’s a good chance this wasn’t the first time they’d met. It seems like at this point, she’s part of the fam… or at least, she’s dressed like she is.
Not gonna lie, the red flags around Colton have been popping up left and right all season long, so it’s not like we’re completely surprised about this development. It’s definitely for the best that Becca let him go after hometown dates because there were probably more warning signs to come anyways. We knew his episode one opening package was too good to be true.
Sigh. Guess we’ll have to find out what Colton has to say for himself on Bachelor in Paradise… which is only a few weeks away. Will he be able to redeem himself? Hopefully so, because despite the drama, he actually seemed like a pretty sweet guy, even though he definitely wasn’t the guy for Becca. And for future reference, Colton? It’s always better to tell the truth, especially if it’s easy to poke holes in a by using the internet.
