Following his appalling suicide video scandal last year, Logan Paul is still trying to pick up the pieces of the mess he made. His career has not been the same ever since and he knows it. However, his girlfriend, Chloe Bennet, continues to support and defend the disgraced YouTube star. During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, she opened up about her relationship with him and urged fans to give Logan a chance to prove he has learned from his mistakes.
“Logan and I connected on a level, on a significant level early on. I think that people make mistakes and if you can’t have room to grow from a mistake and if you can’t forgive people despite changing, I don’t think, really, we have anything,” she said. “I think growth comes from making mistakes.”
While we understand Chloe’s need to defend her boyfriend, she should also remember the magnitude to which he offended people. In case you need a quick reminder, Logan took a video of the dead body of a man who had apparently taken his own life in Japan’s Suicide Forest. To say his behavior and reaction was disgusting is a complete understatement. Then, he posted it online to garner views. Yes, people make mistakes but many believe this is one mistake that is inexcusable.
This isn’t even the first time Chloe has defended Logan. When news that they were dating first made headlines, she responded to a fan who asked her how she could be with someone like him. So, she listed all the reasons why: “Cause he’s kind, creative, funny, vibrantly curious about life, weird as f*ck in all the best ways, a big dork, and he’s one of my best friends.” The actress went on to say that she understands that her relationship with Logan might not make sense to a lot of people, but it doesn’t have to. “He’s changed my life for the better and I’ve done the same for him,” she added.
Meanwhile, last month, Logan acknowledged how lucky he is to be with Chloe by sharing a lengthy note on Twitter praising the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. star.
“She never turned her back on me, she didn’t publicly shame me, and she didn’t hop on the ‘I Hate Logan Paul’ bandwagon… Instead, she stuck her neck out for me, risked her career and personal friendships, and chose to help me grow as a human being & educate me on how to use my platform more responsibly,” he wrote before asking fans not to hate on her for his past mistakes.

We genuinely hope that Logan is a changed man ever since he met and started dating Chloe. Honestly, if anything can change a person, it’s love.
